Cultural Day and ANZ BANK Grand Parade

All good things must come to an end, with the ANZ Grand Parade and Cultural Day ensuring a fantastic finish to the 2008 Mattara Festival.

All starting with the RAAF Base Williamtown 40th Anniversary, Right of Freedom of Entry to the City of Newcastle Parade, helping to celebrate the Maritime Centre Grand Opening and the Mattara Parade at 10.50am followed by The crowd favorite, the Mattara  Grand Parade will leave Wright Lane Honeysuckle just after 11am and march through Wharf Road to the foreshore, with brass bands, floats, streamers and Novacastrians in toe to bid the Mattara Festival a fitting farewell, all with the help from the ANZ Bank.

Today also marks the last day you can catch our favourite people like Rural Fire Service with Solo the Dog and Mr Showy who have been so kind as to join the Mattara Festival on the Park for the last 9 days
