“A treasure hunt and fancy dress competition” will be held on day two of the 2008 Newcastle Mattara Festival which will help raise money for Camp Quality families.
The treasure hunt STARTS at 12:00pm at the main stage and costs $2 to enter.

COMPETITIONS
Fancy dress competition, where kids and adults can dress up as their favourite princess or pirate will be held on the main stage at 3:00pm and is free to enter.

CHILDRENS WORSHOPS
Face painting and craft stalls held throughout the day for all involved to make pirate hats and eye patches or princess wands and tiaras for the competition.

Hunter Life Education Team will be on the park for the whole nine days with Healthy Harold making guest appearances throughout all days of the Mattara.

The Little Scallywagz will also be performing on the main stage at 12.30PM and 10 lucky girls and boys will be picked from the crowd to go up on stage and meet their favourite characters including Jay Jay and Cha Cha.
