The biggest and most exciting primary school contemporary music program in Australia is coming to Mattara Festival from 10am-2pm over 4 days! They will be hosting FREE Ukulele Workshops and doing Rock Band Jam Sessions on board The Music Bus. With fun and engaging programs in Keyboard, Guitar, Drums, Singing, Ukulele and Rock band on our amazing hi-tch mobile classroom, the Bus, it's no wonder that children all over Australia are flocking to get on board!
The Music Bus is the classroom, teacher, curriculum and instruments in one complete package and now boasts a fleet of over 25 buses brining music into the lives of more than 5,500 students all over Australia.

Come and enjoy a great afternoon of entertainment with some very talented performers from The Green Room. The Green Room is a music, academic and life coaching school that has mentored hundreds of youth and families for over 7 years. Lessons include singing, guitar, drums, piano, song writing, and provide regular performance opportunities each term.
Students receive regular life coaching sessions that support and mentor youth with goal setting, life challenges such as bullying, anxiety and depression. We have helped many youth imporve their wellbeing.

Local Newcastle punk rock band, "Twisted Tongues" consists of four impressive musicians between 11 and 14 years old. Influenced by the sounds of Nirvana, Foo Fighters and Good Charlotte, they deliver loud, high-energy performances of original and cover songs across the punk, rock, and grunge genres. Their first original single, "Wasteland" was released in 2019 and is available on Spotify and Apple Music.
The lineup of Gene Berry (vocalist), Joe Paisley (guitarist), Robbie Nolan (bassist) and Sam Robinson (drums) combine to create the Twisted Tongues.
Local Newcastle band, Synergy, enjoys a broad audience appeal with its rock and metal influences and grunge urban sound. These five talented teenagers have delighted audiences at Newcastle live music venues with edgy covers of metal songs such as 'We Won't Back Down', 'Built to Fall' and 'Satallite'.
The lineup consissts of Lilly Mitchelhill (vocalist), Robbie Nolan (guitarist), Ethan Burns (guitarist), Anika Barry (bassist) and Beau Bramble (drums).
Big Dog will be there to meet all the kids! Local Artists & Dance Studios Performing throughout the whole day, Face Painters, Live Children’s Stage Shows with Fairy Evalena twice Daily, with some great prizes up for grabs, come along and try the Free Interactive Workshops today with The Music Bus, Plaster Fun Painting and Creative Crafts, Children’s Lego & Toddler Block Building Marquee for the kids to get in and enjoy, don’t forget the Interactive Baby Animal Farm, Face Painting and Amusement Rides for all ages, and a wonderful variety of Market & Food Sites catering for all your needs.
